The paratransit service is designed to cater to the transportation needs of people with disabilities or an incapacity that makes it difficult to travel and who reside in the territory of Haute-Gaspésie and Baie-des-Chaleurs.
The impairment or disability can take one or more of the following forms: physical, intellectual, sensory, mental.
Who can use paratransit?
To qualify for paratransit service, a person must have characteristics that meet the criteria prescribed by the eligibility policy of the Department of Transportation. A companion may be required on board, according to the needs of the person admitted.
