COVID-19 – RÉGÎM public transit: Maintenance of services

Following the new confinement measures, RÉGÎM wishes to inform the population of the state of its services. Public and adapted transport services are maintained throughout the territory. A reservation is not required except on trips that already required a reservation before the start of the pandemic. Clients are invited to consult the RÉGÎM website in the List of Routes section for all the information on this subject.

Note that the following trips remain by reservation required:

  • Route 26: Gaspé/Murdochville
  • Route 43: Matapédia/Carleton-sur-Mer
  • Route 53: Îles-de-la-Madeleine sector

Administrative offices remain closed to the public, but customer service remains operational. Customers are invited to contact us at 1-877-521-0841.

Certain restrictions will continue to be applied on buses in order to limit the spread of COVID-19. Wearing a mask is mandatory in order to ensure greater safety for all, given that it is difficult to maintain the two-meter distance on buses at all times. We ask our customers to limit their travel and to use our transport only for reasons deemed essential.

The hygiene instructions given by the public health authorities continue to be applied:

  • wash your hands when boarding (each bus has disinfectant);
  • avoid touching your face;
  • cough or sneeze into the crook of your arm;
  • stay home if you are having symptoms associated with COVID-19 or while waiting for a COVID-19 test result.

We invite you to follow us on social media and on our website where we will announce any changes to our services. Visit our website for more information related to COVID-19.
